2012 Ram 3500 Exterior

Join us in welcoming the 2012 Ram 3500. Not much has been changed in this iconic truck for 2012: the option of the RamBox bed side compartments for the 6-foot-4 inch bed. This tough looking machine is ready to outperform its competitors for another year.

The 2012 Ram 3500 is built to last, kick some butt and look good while doing it. There are plenty of features that prove this truck is meant to work hard: industry exclusive RamBox, factory spray-on bedliner, new colour options, cargo box, SRW/DRW (Dual Rear Wheels and Single Rear Wheels) and you can choose from three cab sizes: Regular Cab, the larger Crew Cab and the largest cab in its class Mega Cab.

The interior is classy enough and luxurious enough for a king and queen. The state of the art suspension, hydraulic cab-to-frame mounts and low levels of road and wind noise, along with Soft-touch materials, fine stitching, comfy seats and metallic accents add to the luxury. There are also a lot of storage bins and pockets smartly placed throughout the cabin to ensure you can fit everything into this truck.

Dual rear wheels are standard, but there is the choice of a single rear wheels as an option. The Cummins comes with a big-rig-like exhaust brake, an unusual feature for a pickup which provides additional stability and braking power when towing very heavy loads. When properly equipped, the Ram 3500 dually can tow up to 22,750 pounds. The available trim levels are: ST, SLT, SXT, LARAMIE, LARAMIE LONGHORN and LARAMIE LIMITED.

It is no surprise that the 2012 Ram 3500 has the best in safety features, especially with its track record of being first-in-class. Standard features include: the comprehensive electronic stability control system (esc) comprises multiple technologies which directly benefit manoeuvrability and trailering, multichannel four-wheel antilock brake system is electronically operated, with front brakes controlled individually and the rear in tandem and under the c-pillars, special hydra-mounts enhance comfort and quietness.

This truck and its available options are so impressive that the Society of Plastics Engineers awarded the RamBox the most creative and ingenious use of plastics in the automotive industry. Now that makes a statement.
